The Oliver Tract Campaign
The largest expansion of Great Smoky Mountains National Park in 20 years
This campaign is once-in-a generation opportunity to add over 600 acres to Great Smoky Mountains National Park (GSMNP), the most visited national park in the country. It represents a bridge-to-permanent-conservation project with clear national significance:
• Protection of a large, contiguous tract bordering GSMNP
• Prevention of subdivision and long-term development pressure
• Creation of a direct pathway for permanent federal protection
• Expansion of the footprint and integrity of the Park
For over 40 years, through partnerships with landowners, FLC has completed more than 500 conservation projects protecting over 200,000 acres across Tennessee and beyond. With your help, this defining project will allow FLC purchase this land – to secure it, protect it, and to grow what we love and value most.
