Conservation Values: Maintains bottomland hardwood forests and Carolina Bay Trees associated with the Savannah River, provides natural habitat for plant life for the Savannah River habitat, provides signficant wildlife habitat functions for neotropical migratory songbirds, waterfowl, wading birds, and diversity of game and non-game species (white tailed deer, bobcat, morning dove, wild turkey, wood duck, bald eagle, and osprey).
