Conservation Values: The area contains hardwoods, pines, open fields, extensive wetlands and a creek. It has depressional wetlands identified as priority by GA DNR. Provides habitat for numerous rare species like plants, frogs, snakes, birds, and more. Within the Middle Savannah River watershed, designated high priority by GA DNR. Near thousands of protected acres. Conserves priority wetland habitats and supports many rare species, while located in an important GA watershed near other protected lands.
