Conservation Values: Diverse habitats including creeks, wetlands, mixed forest, and unique exposed granite flatrock. Protects 3 priority habitats per GA DNR: beaver ponds, granite outcrops, oak-hickory pine forests. Provides habitat for rare crayfish, salamander, snake, owl, sprites, sedge, stonecrop, oaks, pillswort, and aster species. Contains rare Southern Piedmont Flatrock community with unique plants like stone mountain coreopsis, stitchwort, rock-pink, pimpernel, and calamint.
