Conservation Values: Contains uncommon boulderfield habitat and protects priority lakes, ponds, dry hardwood forests per AL DCNR. Has imperiled Southern Ridge and Valley Chestnut Oak - Longleaf Pine Forest community. Potential for rare basil bee-balm, phlox, coneflower, catchfly, camellia, aster, bats, snakes. Protects slopes above Twin Pine Lakes and Yellow Branch Creek headwaters within Coosa River watershed.
