Conservation Values: Relatively natural Interior Low Plateau Chestnut Oak-Mixed Oak Forest, Sycamore-Sweetgum Streambottom Forest, and Southern Mesic Beech-Tuliptree Slopes. Constitues over 3,000 acres of contiguous conservation land. The Duck River is one of three hot spots for fish and mussel diversity in the world. Adjacent to Nothern Hills and Headwaters Terrestrial Conservation Site.
