Conservation Values: Protects water quality of creeks, wetlands, ponds, springs and a small lake. Habitats include wetlands, hardwood forest, oak-hickory forest, canebrakes, fields, pine plantations, creeks - priority per GA DNR. Potential habitat for rare Bachman's sparrow, four-toed salamander, crayfish. Also potential for uncommon plants like olive, indigo-bush, orchids, draba, oak, trillium. Conserves vital wetlands and water resources while supporting rare species and biodiversity.
