Conservation Values: Proximity to Fall Creek Falls State Park, Savage Gulf II Scientific Natural Area, Hubbards Cave, and South Cumberland State Recreation Area. Visibility from Harper, Two Mile, and Harrison Ferry Roads, and State Route 8. Rocky River is regionally significant for natural, scenic values and locally significant for recreational boating. NPS inventory posits one or more "outstandingly remarkable" natural or cultural values of Rocky River. Very high terrestrial habitat priority in 2005 TN SWAP.
