Conservation Values: Preservation of the conservation area for water quality protection for Vauclose Pond, creek drainage and wetlands; Protects land associated with rare species (eastern fox squirrel, federally endangered red-cockaded woodpecker, bog spicebush, sweet pitcherplant, piedmont water-milfoil, pyramid magnolia, and nestronia); Protects land for some recreation activities.
