Conservation Values: Protects natural habitat for rare and antive plant and animal species: bllodroot, black cohosh, black maple, spotted mandarin. Further connect over 1200 acres of contiguous acres of environementally signficiant mountain land subject to CE. Protects a section of Rough Branch Creek that has steep slopes and contributes to a main tributary system including the French Broad and TN Rivers.
