Conservation Values: Golf course.The CA includes many maturing pine trees and several forest remnants comprised of native hardwood species providing animal habitat and ground cover canopy, ponds, small creeks, and ditches providing aquatic habitas. large permeable open spaces for ground and sruface water recharge; wildlife habitats for small mammals, amphibians, reptiles, waterfowl, neotropical migratory birds and small indigenous birds, including a species under federal protection and known to occur in Putnam County. Provides buffers for sedimentation run off into Lake Oconee and maintains scenic views from the lake enjoyed by the general public.
