Conservation Values: Includes panoramic views of the Pisgah National Forest, forests of mixed hardwoods; diverse plant habitats including understory communities of rhododendron, provides wildlife habitats lfor large mammal species such as black bear and bobcats smaller mammal species such as gray fox, gray squirrel, ground hog, raccoon, red tailed hawk , song birds, and neotropical migratory birds.
