Conservation Values: The CA protects natural scenic and open space. Contains forests of mature fixed hardwoods, diverse plant habitats, understory comuniities of rhododendron, mountain laurel, and annual and perennial herbs, seeps, streams, and water courses. contains mammal species such as gray fox, black bear, bobcat, gray squirrel, groundhog, and raccoon, large birds, wild turkey, barred owl, and red tailed hawk, warbler, grosbeak, finch, and crossbill.
