Along Weiss Lake, part of the AL Scenic River Trail, a National Water Trail and a National Recreation Trail. Water resources drain into the Coosa-Tallapoosa Watershed a TNC priority. Relatively natural Bottomland Hardwood Forest habitat, a key habitat in the 2015 AL SWAP.
