Conservation Values: The CA consists of panoramic views of the Pisgah National Forest, forests of mature mixed hardwoods, diverse plant habitats, including understory plant communities of rhododendron, mountain laurel, and annual/perennial herbs, seeps, streams. Contains habitats for black bear, bobcat, smaller wild turkey, grouse, barred owl, red tailed hawk, small song birds, junco, warbler, grosbeak, finch, and crossbill.
