Conservation Values: Provides water quality protection for sections of one creek, portions of a small lake, several springs, and wetlands; Protects natural habitats for rare species (red-cockaded woodpeckers,eastern fox squirrel, bog spicebush, sweet pitcherplant, pyramid magnolia, piedmont water milfoil and nestronia); State of SC has identiteid this area as a high priority for conservation.
