Conservation Values: Cedar Creek & tributaries draining into Russell Lake, part of the Savannah River system. It includes old growth forests, pine plantations, hardwood ravines, creeks, springs & fields, with potential for rare species like trillium & owls. It's contiguous with Corps buffer lands protecting Lake Russell wetlands. Per the GA DNR WCS, it protects priority Mesic Hardwood & Oak-Hickory-Pine forests and Springs/Runs.
