Robert Van HookPresident of FLC Properties Foundation

Robert Van Hook currently serves as the President of the FLC Properties Foundation. An ecologist by training (PhD –Clemson University), Mr. Van Hook served as a research scientist at Oak Ridge National Laboratory before becoming the Director of the Environmental Sciences Division, then serving as Deputy Director of ORNL. He then became President Of Lockheed Martin Energy Systems and was responsible for the Environmental Management Program and the Y-12 National Security Facility. He is a past president of FLC’s Board of Directors. Mr. Van Hook is past chairman and current board member of the East Tennessee Economic Council and the Roane County Forestry Association. He has served on the boards of The Nature Conservancy and Pro2Serve as well as The Southern Appalachian Man and The Biosphere Program. Mr. Van Hook is retired and provides his services as a management consultant.
