The mission of the Foothills Land Conservancy is to protect, preserve, and enhance the lands and associated environments of East Tennessee and to promote the character of the region for the benefit of the general public.

Join our Friends of the Foothills program today! Last year, FLC decided to acknowledge our donors as ‘Friends’ in lieu of ‘Members’. Why?  Because we consider our supporters to be ongoing partners in land preservation and all dollars contributed should go to this mission. ‘Friends’ are welcome to contribute any time and will not be taken off our electronic mailing lists unless requested.  To make a monetary contribution, please utilize the electronic and printable forms to the left of your screen. Dear Friends,

On behalf of all of us at FLC – our Board of Directors, staff, and the East Tennessee community - we want to thank you for supporting our mission.  
As the only land trust whose sole mission is to preserve and enhance the lands of East Tennessee, you will have assisted us in advancing the protection of farmland, migrating wildlife, woodlands, watersheds and scenic views. Land that is preserved in perpetuity enhances the quality of life in our community, benefits future generations, and provides a legacy for the families that came before us.

Financial contributions are more important than ever - all of our programs and funding sources are coordinated through FLC on a volunteer basis only. These funds assist us with the many land conservation programs, community outreach projects, and operational functions needed to carry on our mission. FLC always welcomes the volunteer and donor support of our ‘Friends of the Foothills’. Friends receive our Annual Report, electronic newsletters, an invitation to all activities, and the satisfaction of knowing their support will make a lasting impact on our region. Consider a gift this year of $25, $50, $250, or $1000. We welcome all contributions and eagerly await your partnership. No contribution is too small.

Donations are accepted online, as well as by phone, email, or check (see left hand side of this page).  Bequests and future gifts are easy to arrange as well as contributions in the form of appreciated assets or land donations. FLC is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization and is not affiliated with local, state or federal governments. Contributions of cash are tax deductible and may be made in one lump sum or a pledge paid over a specified period of time.
